The California Department of Cannabis Control (DCC) announced a series of reforms late last week to streamline administration and augment consumer protections. When releasing the measures, DCC Director Nicole Elliot said:

Minnesotaā€™s plans under scrutiny šŸ”¬

Minnesota is not following the traditional path to cannabis legalization. Heck, they already have widespread hemp-derived, THC products throughout the state. Cannabis cost effective for PTSD šŸ©ŗ

A Leafwell study published in the journal Clinical Drug Investigation, found that cannabis was a cost-effective adjunct therapy for post-traumatic stress disorder. Marijuana Moment covered the study. The lead author of the study noted: ā€œThis article suggests that, for the vast majority of types of products, there is pretty solid evidence that medical cannabis is cost-effective, meaning thatā€¦adding these items to [patientsā€™] drug formulary would be advantageous for not only the patientā€”because of the lowering of the costā€”but also advantageous for health insurance.ā€
