INSIGHTS
Job satisfaction in the cannabis industry
This week, White Ash Group’s Managing Director Graydon Welbourn joined Cultivated Live to share with Jay key findings and insights from White Ash Group’s 2024 Salary Guide. Here’s what he said:
“The Canadian average for job satisfaction is somewhere around 7.2 to 7.5 out of 10, and cannabis is a 6.2 to 6.5. So, it’s a whole point below average. Most of the reason was job instability and lack of leadership and structure…People look to their job as something they can lean on in their life that’s stable, and the cannabis industry is just not there yet.”
